New York, NY... Cont.

As mentioned in the previous post I had the good fortune to attend a corporate responsibility seminar in New York last week (more on that later).

This was not my first trip the the "Big Apple" but I was still just as amazed this time, as I have been each time in the past. New York, especially Manhattan, is like no other city I've visited. Chicago is a big city, but it's not NYC, I spend six months traveling to Chicago as the owners representative on a fast forward project... an amazing city, but it's not NYC.

Such a modern city, yet so old and so... familiar in so many ways. From the Lady standing watch in the great harbor, to the skyline, to that place that you just happen upon and you're sure... positive, that you've been there before!

I know that I wasn't there on V.J. Day, never on a New Years Eve or even on that horrible day that is forever etched in our minds but... we were. Through pictures and film I guess we've all been there, it's just really strange to find yourself suddenly standing in front of something you've seen so many times, and your mind is flipping the pages.
